Description:
Don't confuse 2.7 Eboot Fixer GUI by Dragula96 with DDLord's 2.71 SE Homebrew Fixer GUI although they share the same concept and both of these apps use Coldbird's PSP 2.71 SE Homebrew Fixer which fixes any 1.0 EBOOT so that it runs perfectly on your 2.71 SE-A firmware PSP.
2.7 Eboot Fixer GUI is made with VB6 and in case of runtime errors google for "vb6 runtime files" and install. This app requires
COMDLG32.0CX (included in the download file). If get an error message that reads "COMDLG32.ocx is missing" even though it's there, Dragula96 says just run the program again. The second time is usually the charm.
When making folders/files, use 8 characters or less and put the folders in a directory with the same rules like "c:psppbpfixer" or something similar. Don't put spaces in folder or file names.
To use 2.7 Eboot Fixer GUI:
* Extract the "fixer GUI.exe" file and put it in your "CBEBOOTFixer" or wherever you have your "coldbird.bat" and other files.
* Run fixer GUI.exe and search for your .pbp file
* Type in your homebrew title
* Click "update"
* Click execute
Then let Coldbird's PSP 2.71 SE Homebrew Fixer do the work. Dragula96 welcomes comments and suggestions but has no time for flamers so let's respect that. You can post them at the forum's release thread.
