Description:
If you are getting a little fed up with the somewhat limited range of options you get from the XMB's music player then this is something which should appeal to you. No longer do you have to sit in the XMB's music player to play music with this new MP3 PRX module joek2100 which allows you to play your music tracks located in ms0:/PSP/MUSIC if you are on Dark_Alex's 2.71 SE-B" firmware. It's a modified opensource PRX from Ahman's great iR Shell, and lets you have freedom in your choice of music in-game without having to run iR Shell in the background. Here's what this 2.71 SE-B'' MP3 module features:
* Supports the playing of mp3 files located in ms0:/PSP/MUSIC (no subdirs).
* Switching between random and sequential play modes - Note + Square
* Pause track - Note + Left Trigger
* Next track - Note + Right Trigger
* Built in "overclocker" - Note + Triangle to change CPU speed
The beauty of this is that all of these buttons can be pressed when you are anywhere in the XMB and may even work whilst you are playing games, with the MP3 player reacting accordingly. No more iR Shell running in the background or sitting around doing nothing in order to listen to your music collection. However, a bit of knowledge is required to use this as you will have to use Coldbird's Universal Module Flasher in order to flash the PRX to your 2.71 SE-B" firmware PSP. The source code has also been included in the download for all the custom firmware developers out there! Who knows, this may even be included in Dark_Alex's 2.71 SE-C firmware!
