Description:
Jomann wanted to have a custom screen pop up on his PSP whenever he turned it on, but he couldn't find any program to do it for him. Then he realized he could probably write this in Lua himself. The result is Lua Booter, an application that'll post a picture of you choice during your PSP's startup process.
It's simple, but very effective. We've taken the liberty of putting up a modified version of his readme up here, though you can we're keeping the original in the download. As always, feel free to visit the forum release thread to ask Jomann for some help if you're running into some problems, and make sure the picture you use for Lua Booter actually fits in the PSP's screen, alright?
Readme:
* To install the app, just put the "boot" folder in x:/psp/game.
* Turn off your PSP, then hold the R button while turning on your psp again. Click x on configuration.
* Click x on "autorun program at /psp/game/boot/eboot.pbp". If it's enabled, you'll get a "currently: enabled" message.
* Exit, and you will see the picture above, which Jomann premade for the program. After a bit it will goto the xmb.
* Go to xmb mode.
* Open "psp" then "game" then "boot" then "applications" then "lowser" and replace "background.jpg" with any image you want to switch your background at startup. Just make sure it fits the PSP's screen (the picture Jomann used is 480x272), and you're good to go.
