Description:
There are certain things in life that we can't get enough of. Ice cream, hugs and kisses maybe, and even pron for that matter. Well, we don't know about that last one but you know what we mean. For us gamers and homebrew enthusiasts, the application PopStation Gui will probably end up in that list as well.
To those of you who are still not getting the hang of this, the PopStation Gui allows for converting PSX games to a format playable in 3.03 OE. Today, coder nant15 dropped by our forums and released his own take on this application. He well recognizes the fact that there are already a lot of different versions to choose from.
But Draggin' POP, or Dr. POP as he likes to call it, is something easier and more friendly. All you have to do is to simply drag and drop files and viola - you'll have your converted format in no time! Furthermore, nant15 mentioned that there are still some bugs with Dr. POP and so he likes to hear your suggestions and comments. Here's a quick rundown on how tou use Dr. POP:
* Open Dr.POP
* Drag the PSX image in ISO/CUE/BIN/CCD/IMG format into the Dr.POP window
* Or, insert PSX CD into the drive and open my computer - then 'drag' the drive into the Dr.POP window
* Drag any image file you wish to use (in PNG, JPG or GIF format) on to the DrPOP window to use it as icon, background or overlay image in EBOOT.
* Or, search Google Image for boxshot or screenshot you like then right click and copy it ("Copy" in IE, "Copy Image" in Firefox). Hold the right mouse button on the Dr.POP window to choose where you want to place the image. Releasing Right button will "Paste" it on to the screen.
* Click Image Button to choose whether you want the images to be centered or scaled.
* Plug the PSP in, open the PSPGAME folder. Create new folder with the name you like (eg: SilentHill) and drag that folder (in this case, icon with the name SilentHill) into Dr.POP Window. (of course, another drive or folder will work - not only those on the Memory stick)
* Click "Go", choose compression level and wait!
