Description: Nielkie over at our boards is letting everybody know that his WavePool homebrew application - his very app - has just been released for your usage. This program, much like some of the other XMBwave-based apps you may be familiar with, allows users to customize the wave effects on you portable console's xmb.<br><br>While that doesn't sound too special compared to the likes of tgaWave, what makes this app unique is that it's built to run on a Linux OS, with a Mac workable version coming out soon. Given the rather limited (albeit well-made) number of custom application we've encountered, we're sure the guys here will appreciate this port - also make sure to wait up for an eventual Windows release.<br><br>As for expected tweaks in the next version:<br><br>Extract texture's from a system_plugin_bg.<br>Write file size index (So no file size limit)<br><br>Lastly, Nielkie is letting the guys know this app requires WINE to run (not the alcoholic drink). We advise would-be downloaders to view the README in the bundle - it may contain pointers beneficial for using this app. Once again, we thank Nielkie for his efforts, and wish him luck in making this application's next version.
