Description:
It seems that there's an on-going friendly competition between two homebrew developers over at QJ Forums. A couple of days ago, Re_AnimAte released a fairly good version of the application known as The PSP Game Maker. In a nut shell, it is a working compiler and tester for Lua games made in C#.
Now, coder -MANIAC- dropped by our forums today and told us about the competition. According to him, Re_AnimAte mentioned that he should create a new compiler and they'll see which one is better. And so he came up with The New PSP Game Maker. Well, this is just the GAMMA version though, two steps behind the BETA release.
Just the same, give the program a look and tell us which one you actually prefer just to help our two coders decide. If you're interested, there are a few reminders that you have to keep in mind before using this:
* PLEASE EXTRACT THE ARCHIVE BEFORE RUNNING!
* Place all your custom scripts in the Scripts folder (name the file yourscriptsname.sc)
* Syntax Highlighting IS enabled
* Click CTRL-S to save when in the code view
* The designer view is in EXTREME beta and produces pretty much no code. It is still usable, though.
Lastly, -MANIAC- would like to hear some suggestions on how to make The New PSP Game Maker better. Have fun!
