Description:
PSP homebrew developer Sakya recently rolled out the LightMP3 v1.2.0. We previously covered version 1.1.0, so you might want to read more on this homebrew's history before reading this article.
This MP3 player has been described as a "basic mp3 player designed to drain little energy from your battery" and we'd have to agree that it performs exactly that. There are quite a few updates that have been added in this version that users of older versions may be interested in knowing, here's a complete change log of the program:
* Added equalizer's presets (press NOTE while playing a file)
* Reduced analog sensitivity
* You can now turn off the display pressing start while playling a file (display won't turn on if you press another key)
* Pressing NOTE in playlist editor will play the current playlist.
* Fixed: current playlist is cleared at startup.
Download the program and enjoy, please remember to go through the readme file before doing anything though to avoid any unwanted problems from cropping up. As an added note to programmers, Sakya was also nice enough to include the source code of the program, so you might want to check it out to see how it works.
