Description:
For those of us who are currently enjoying portable Duke Nukem 3D action via Sony PlayStation Portable homebrew developer MrPeanut's efforts, you'll be pleased to know that he's come up with a way to fix the pitch issues in the game (i.e. not making the Duke of bubblegum-chewing and ass-kicking sound like he's just reached puberty). This is through a batch utility that pretty much gets rid of the issues themselves. Neat.
And while it's usually mandatory for us to peruse the readme files bundled with any downloadable homebrew, MrPeanut also thought of the off-chance that we might not be able to, and thus included an easy step-by-step guide of the most important steps in the bug-fixing process. Here they are:
1. duke3d.grp needs to be in the same directory as pitchfixer.bat
2. You need to run "ncGrouplist duke3d.grp" PRIOR to running pitchfixer.bat
3. Those are the only two commands you need to run.
4. Play the game with a duke that doesn't sound like he just reached puberty.
