Description:
PSP owners who have upgraded to firmware 3.80 probably already know that they need a separate application or player to access internet radio. Considering the limited selection of internet radio players for the PSP, some homebrew developers have been working on their own programs which include some rather nifty features. One such developer is Torch who dropped by our forums to release the Beta version of MyRadio.
According to Torch, MyRadio is an alternate player for the PSP Internet Radio Player. It allows users to access their PC media library using the PSP through via either a WiFi connection, a local area network (LAN), or the Internet. The application proper has support for both MP3 and ACC tracks. It can also read online streaming playlists (like ShoutCast), as well as localize M3U playlists.
Those who plan on using this application should have both Apache and Perl installed in the computers as well as a decent hex-editor. The developer of the program pointed out that installation might be a bit difficult for less experienced members of the homebrew community. If you still want to try installing the program, be sure to go over the readme.txt file included with the homebrew.
