Description:
PSP Homebrew Developer maxthebest - author of Protect-me and the Fibonacci calculator - has come out with a new application, Screensaver. The app allows you to put your unit on "sleep" mode. While on sleep mode, the app will show the time on screen. You can also set the CPU speed to save on battery.
The readme in the archive is in French but users are encouraged to go to our forum for questions or discussions on the application. Here are the developer's notes for Screensaver 1.0:
Here is what it does:
* Turns your psp into "sleep" mode after a time you set.
* Puts it to very low CPU frequency (you can set it too)
* Shows the hour while in sleep mode.
Installation:
* Unzip this to ms root.
* You can set the CPU speed in the screensav.ini file, the first number is CPU speed and the second is the time after which it will go to screensaver (in secondes).
* If you happen to delete the *.ini file, it will still work with those default parameters: CPU 10mHz
* TIME about 1 minute (60secs)
* Now activate the plugin trough the recovery mode.
Notes:
* If you enable usb, if the screensaver comes up, it will stop the connexion, so switch HOLD button so that it doesn't comes up, do the same for downloads in RSS.
