Description:
Now we bring you developments from the French homebrew front: coder pspflashsystem has just rolled out version 3.0 of the application known as prxutility. This comes with several improvements and bug fixes.
For those who missed the previous coverage on this, prxutility is actually a utility program for the Sony PlayStation Portable. What it does, among other things, is alert users whenever the handheld's battery runs low.
A changelog for version 3.0 of the program has been provided by pspflashsystem. Here's a version of it, translated to English using an online language engine:
* New information added in the menu on the battery
* Information about the Mac Address your PSP
* Information on the WLAN your psp (possibility of whether the button on WLAN is on or off and
* if the WLAN is functioning normally)
* Information on the motherboard of your PSP (if it is a TA-79/81/82/86/85 or 85 V2 but for the TA-85 V2, failing slim psp with this motherboard I have not been able to verify if my prx recognizes this motherboard to verify)
* Adding a configuration file that allows you to customize the buttons for access to different menus: You can change the keys in the file located in pspflashsystem.system "ms0: / SEPLUGINS / prxutility + + / pspflashsystem.system."
* Note: * The buttons default to help display the menu are: L + NOTE
* The buttons default to display the menu information: NOTE VOLEUP + (= volume up)
* Use the "Notebook" to open this configuration file
* Everything is detailed in the configuration file pspflashsystem.system
* The bug of affchage which was that the texts overlapped when we went from one screen to another
* Improvements to the presentation in the menu information
That's about it for prxutility v3.0. Just be sure to give the Readme.txt file a good run through and translation to maximize the potential of this program.
