Description: We've already seen PlayStation homebrew apps which simulate guitars, pianos and other instruments. Homebrew developer has decided to create a new addition in the expanding repertoire of PSP virtual instruments with Monome.<br><br>This application is basically an electronic beat machine which allows you to set timed beats across a checkerboard layout for varied synthesized tunes much like a DJ turntable. You can set the speed and movement of the beats using the different controls when playing your composition.<br><br>It's a lot easier to understand by diving right into the program itself, so here are the controls to this nifty application:<br><br>Cross: add remove<br>Triangle: Empty<br>Square \| Circle: accelerate / decelerate<br>(Square \| Circle) + Right trigger: accelerate / decelerate A line<br>Up \| Right \| Down \| Left: Movement<br>(Up \| Down) + Right trigger: synchronize the line with that of above or below.<br>Home to exit<br><br>As always, please make sure to read the accompanying documentation before you install Monome into your PSP. The program was written in French so just pop the text into your favorite online translator for more information regarding this program.<br><br>To give you a better idea on how Monome works, here's a video of some real-life hardware which the application was based on.
