Downloading empty folders.

Question
My question is whether this is a problem on my end (with compatibility issues) or is the BrewPack Generator so popular it cannot keep up?

Problem
When I press "Generate" I begin downloading a file, the file downloads (5 to 20 KB/sec) then I uncompress it, when I open the folder "PSP" there is nothing in it.

My Setup
Computer: Apple G5 running Macintosh 10.4.1
Browser: Firefox 1.0.3
Decompressor: Stuffit Expander 7.0.3

Extra info
One thing that makes me think that it is a problem on my end is that the .ZIP files I download are different sizes relative to how many items I select in the BPG. However everytime I have decompressed one, the filesize of the resulting folder is zero.

The .ZIP file sizes seem a bit small. Should a BrewPack in which I selected NesterJ and uo_SNES only be 864 KB?

Also- Has anyone else had a similar experience with this?

i am wondering if its because you have a mac

try this... make a small file (with 1 or two)emus. completely unzip to a folder... confirm that the contents are not there... and then send me the exact file and let me see if it works.

Same problem

I have a PowerBook G4 and I am having the same problem. I wouldn't say the problem is because we have Macs, but that something about the Zip file might not be quite right. I have never had problems with Zip files, and I have 3 different extraction tools (to cover all the bases), this is the first time I've seen something like this.

The PSPBrew pack generator is a great idea, but I wonder what method of creating a zip file the author is using, and on what platform. If it should suit him, I would ask the author to revisit his compression method, and verify that it is creating fully standard Zip files that are platform agnostic. This site is the best one I've seen for getting homebrew apps, hopefully this can be solved so Mac users can join in too.

Here I have uploaded the BrewPack.ZIP file containing uo_SNES.

http://hh2005.com/tanner/pspbrewpack.zip

hopefully this will all get resolved, in the meantime could someone with a PC send me a BrewPack with uo_SNES on it?

ok well that proves that the problem either lies with my decompression method, or your compression method. I will try more kinds of decompressors.

until this gets resolved do you think you could send me the actual folder with uo_SNES on it, that is all I have been wanting for months now.
