RIN GB/GBC emu help

Ok, its unzipped and on the memory stick, but with a rom placed in the folder or not, the icon shows on the PSP but unable to start the emu. Can someone give me a walkthrough from start to finish with this emu please. double thanks

when you choose it, does it just start PSP icon and sound, and come back to the main menu (XBR) ?

My RIN works just fine, i have my roms on my /GAME folder, i can choose it from there, cz it is hard coded, elsewhere won't work.

if the EMU doesn't start at all, that's another story.
My suggestion, just to try it, download ONLY RIN frmo the Generator, nothing else, see how that works.

Pablo, sorry for being such a noob.

Anyways I couldnt download the file from the generator list, all I got is a .htm file. I downloaded the RIN file from this forum, I believe it was the post where all the emus were listed and linked to download. The RIN emu folder has 3 folders(docs, Eboot.php, RINMENU). I put on copy of the RIN emu on my ms in the Game directory folder. The icon shows up on the PSP.

So do I need another folder with the % symbol, or will just the one RIN file work?

What extension do the roms need? Do I have to rename them?

You said place the roms in the /GAME folder. Do I have to place this folder within the RIN folder or the PSP Game folder?

if you are running 1.5 the download link which is apart from the generator will not work for you.

or similar
just put these to your Memory stick with the same structure as it appears in the unzipped folder

I have ver 1.52 will that affect anything. because i cant play anything rite now

yes there is a firmware dump for PSP. But the thing is, it wont work for anything higher than 1.5. Tough luck
