Tekken 2 won't run right on a 3.6ghz p4 with 2gigs of ram... so I have a feeling that the PSP is not going to actually run that at even a passable framerate. I think we'll be lucky to get games like OutRun to run well once the bugs are worked out of the emulator.

The most recent rom list is version .95, so there are quite a few games that aren't in .71 which is the theoretically compatible rom set. In practice however, almost nothing works. They're still trying to make the emulator run correctly, so give it a while.

It's gonna take a while to get all the bugs out of the emulators. Hardly any of them even run decent without upping the clock of the PSP. Patience is a virtue. We'll have more kickass homebrew than you can imagine soon enough. Just give the dev's time and I'm sure they'll have everything running great soon.

Right now nothing works at all with mame, because the emulator isn't finished. Once they get that running better, I'm sure they'll work on increasing the game compatibilites. But you have to remember, the PSP is not an incredibly powerful piece of hardware. Arcade games around the mid-90s got a lot more hardcore, and that's not going to be easy to get working. I have high hopes for the future though. I'm sure that they'll release a PSP optimized one, but until someone gets it working, there isn't going to be a lot of interest in it. That's the vicious cycle.

well, actually, i didnt get it from here. Ive downloaded it off another site. But the one here works just fine. The reason ive downloaded the one from the other site is because it has an intro music when i move to the VBA emulator. It has the StarWars music. The one that always play when they show darth vader. Go to my site. www.godano.cjb.net for instructions.
