will the october 22nd update kill the homebrew channel?

today i got a message about an update that notifies me that it will delete any unauthorized game saves, i want to know if i am safe or if there will be a patch to override this update. i dont want it to end like this! :( i loved playing the classic sonic and zelda games on the big screen.

There is a new system menu version out now... 3.4. Again, Nintendo has broken the ability to install the homebrew channel and anything that accesses a cios if you have one installed. DO NOT UPGRADE.

If you want to keep things the way they are just don't update for a week or so. If you feel that GH: WT features are worth updating right away then go ahead, you will lose the majority of your homebrew. An update will come out shortly like it always does.
