how goes the war?(wad files question)

Honestly I really have no issues about paying for VC games but I hate being region locked. That being said the only wad I tried to install was Castlevania: Dracula X rondo of blood(unfortunately I got it right after the update). The homebrew channel works still so mostly I can just run emulators(unfortunately no Magic Engine here) for old carts I still have copies of but I wanted 3-4 games from other regions.(ok so I talk to much)

Anyway has anyone found a way to install Wads again yet?(and yes I saw the thing on the front page but it worries me)

As of now the only to install WAD's on the new update is the instructions on the front page.

I believe the method posted on the frontpage is an actual downgrade of the system.
