Update Questions?

Does Formating the Wii memory downgrade to 3.2? The reason I'm asking this is I originally tried downgrading, and it said it was still up to date for updates when I tried updating.

Also, if you install a wad, then upgrade to 3.4 does it disable the wad, or does 3.4 just block installation?

Basically all I want to do is install All stars.

I originally had it, and deleted it because i didn't want to brick my wii and I wasn't sure what the update would do.

I'm sure homebrew is going to eventually come up with a hack around it, but still, if I can just do it now, I'll be ok.

ok found something for the downgradeing, now my only question is, if I put all stars on, when it's downgraded, then upgrade again, will it disable the game?

3.4 will disable and not allow you to install wads.

A system format will not downgrade. You stay at the same firmware, but you will erase everything in memory.

There's no reason at this time to have a firmware higher than 3.2. It's what I use and I'm staying at until an update is needed.
