1. When the tutorials say to use twilighthack2, they are probably referring to the latest version of the hack, designed for 3.4 systems. If you go into the Wii packgen on our Wiibrew page, then you can easily download the necessary files.

2. You probably have the wrong version.

I want to install the homebrew channel. But I've been reading things like "After an October 23rd update the Wii willl block new installations of The Homebrew Channel".

I have installed the latest Wii system update, (December 5th I believe), and my Wii is 3.4U.

So is it impossible for me to install the Hombrew channel?

One disadvantage to having sys. menu 3.4 is the you will be unable to install wads on your wii. I've heard that sys. menu 3.2 is the most ideal for homebrew. If you can live live without wads and maybe dvd playback, then more power to ya.
