Wii linux spasms

I tried to install Whiite. So i downloaded needed packages, divided my SD card, installation went good, but it said - flushing disks.I thought its removing all data on my flashdisk,so i ripped it off.I thought i will be able to format my card back to FAT16 and start again, from scratch.Wrong.Couldnt do anything, gparted for no reason said that it cant handle my sd card.Aw.But it said congratulations! Then why i have nothing on my SD card i could run with homebrew channel?
manual-
3. Copy the whiite-linux folder from the whiite-linux-0.1a.tar.bz2 archive to /apps/ for HBC or put the boot.elf on the root for the TP-Hack.
so i did.IT WORKS!But for some reason,my TV doesnt show me the whole screen,so i cant see what i am typing.(i mean what commands i am typing)
so this is my story.i need two things

1)format whole card to FAT16
2)How can i make wii squish the screen so i can see the commandline?

It says several times in the instructions and during instalation that it needs to erase all contents of your SD card when it partitions it. If you pulled it out while it was doing something you probably corrupted the card. If you know anyone with a Mac have them use Disk Utility to format it as FAT. As far as the command line question, I've been annoyed with the same issue. If someone knows how to fix that I would be happy too.

I solved it by myself,it was just my stupidity. The whiite installer sucks, its easier to do it on a linux, and why gparted cant do anything? My cleverness forgot to unmount them. Now its working well, except the "squish-screen" problem.
