Nintendo E3 Press conference! (...2008!!)
Not very spectacular, huh? Cammie and her eerily forced cheerfulness was working away at my last nerve within five seconds of her introduction, Animal Crossing: City Folk looks so similar to the last two I doubt I'll pick it up (and I was thoroughly addicted to the first Animal Crossing!), WiiSpeak looks rather unappetizing, and Wii Music just looks way too simple. I'm not too sure about that last one--I'd like to see more of it. The people on stage sounded really bad, and Nintendo has never been very good with song selection (see: Donkey Konga).
The only light at the end of the dark, dank, casual-gaming tunnel was the MotionPlus. Wii Sports Resort looks like it'll be pretty fun, but I can't wait to see what other kick-balls games are going to utilize it.
