New PS3

Im sure a bunch of you people have heard of the Metal Gear Solid 4 Bundle is comming out in June.

AND it has a 80GB HDD and will have backward compatability.
My question to the brewers is:will we be able to play PS2 Backups off of the new PS3's HDD.

and i know that we are able to run linux on the PS3 but i was wondering if somehow we are able to run windowsXP or Mac OS on the PS3 too, this will most likely require some sort of hack, but MAYBE if you can get this OS running it might be easier to hack into the PS3 to do homebrew and stuff.

But if the PS3 is somewhat like the PSP then that wont be necessary and will only have to make a program that can flash the bios or something. Make a pnadora's flash drive lol. or maybe, there will be some way to make a temporary cache in the PS3's RAM and use the updater but make it read the RAM and that way it can flash the files.

Power to the people!! ^^)b
