I didn't do much, hung out with the neighbors for a while. The US national whitewater center (it's in my backyard, literally) was going to have a fireworks show, so we all drove a couple trucks down into the woods on top of this huge hill to watch it but since it rained so much everyone left and they are going to do it tonight. So I guess tonight will be my 4th of july. We were going to do the usual, light off fireworks from south carolina, but there is a major drought in NC so yea. It rained like crazy though last night before it got dark, go figure.

W00t, saw my fireworks tonight. So technically tonight was my 4th. Picked up my new truck, then went to see fireworks.

Well...I was at a party for a few hours, starving the whole dam day without anything to eat.
The drive back home was 70 miles, it was 103 degrees, the party was in the valley, so it was pretty hot.

Me and my dad decided to go home early, because we didn't feel like staying all day. Besides, the barbeque
food took hours before they could finish it.

That's got to suck. I know how you feel though, I had to drive back 115 miles from where I picked up my truck. So in all there was 4 hours of driving involved, with no food. Spent all the money on gas :p Did you know SC's gas is like 20 cents cheaper than NC?

@bkf
Well of course lol, I wasn't about to spend 10 bucks to park at the white water center's parking lot when all the neighborhood had to do was "unlock" the gate that goes into the woods. But we had fun.
