censorship of the INTERNET!

most of you might not know who Alex Jones is and what he talks about.
But all i want you to do is listen to how he talks about the censorship that is occurring, we need to get the word out and stop it before it actually happens.
Yes i know its a youtube video, but i thought its important that people realize such websites that the government doesnt like is being blocked.

do you guys think it will happen, and what your overall thought about it?

Yea, it will happen late next year. AT&T has already asked congress for the money to upgrade the internet. Believe it or not all of the pirating will come to an end by 2011 due to the upgrades.

Have a nice life.

I would not worry about porn. There is nothing illegal about porn as long as adults are involved but everything anyone does online will be tracked more easily. I like a lawless internet but it really is not profitable for large corporate interests or the government but that is already changing because some sites charge tax online.

Maybe this will be the start of a new network "internet". Where there is a will, there is always a way. The more difficult the lock, the more skillful the locksmith becomes.

I'm positive that there will always remain underground networks where our "old ways" are still able to be used.

Wow. That sucks. No more pirating? They should really not make more laws for the internet then what is already in place. I like it just the way it is. But you gotta admit, no more pirating would be say, the end of the PSP scene. You know how many people buy psps just for homebrew or pirating games? I mean that would be the end of Sony selling PSP's. That would be the end of photoshops popularity! That would be the end of the all the people who actually stood up for Vista saying it's a nice OS (like me). I guess the government has to find a way to make money off of it some how.

I guess there will still be someway to pirate stuff though.

I really think this is upsetting.
Ace its not just pirating. its every form of speech also.
There will never be an underground forum, or website that allows people like us to do or even say half the things we say.
it will be outlawed.

but the interesting thing is, how he talked about the websites like infowars.com, prisonplanet.com, and many other websites who criticize the government and talk about what the government doesnt want talked about are being blocked

What we should be asking ourselves is that if the information on these websites are not true(which most people who are not familiar with the movement insist) then why is the British government and the U.S. government blocking it.
I just think its very interesting

its true as well, since i was on public library and just went ot infowars.com to see if its truly blocked, and it was because of " Hateful material" and then i got to godhatesmexico.com and its not blocked?
does anyone see the irony here?

It depends on your internet.
the government sponsored ISPs are the ones blocking it. depending on what you run off of.
i use bellsouth so i wasnt supprised that i went there and it wasnt.
but if you do use comcast or one of the others he mentioned, then im guessing it was only for a little while like he was talking about with the youtube and google situations.

I'm guessing Comcast is only blocking it in European areas, since it's not blocked on my computer.

Why am I not surprised that this is happening. I'm at infowars now and i dont see anything "hateful" i see someone operating their rights for freedom of speech AND using the INTERNET a LAWLESS PUBLIC DOMAIN to do it...
