Yup everything is simply drag and drop. Of course you'll need to have the file extensions in the proper format

Formats:
Music - .mp3
Movies - .mp4
PSP games - .ISO or .CSO
PSX games - Eboot accompanied with keys

Theres others but those are some of the most common for users.

EDIT: 06/07/07 new!!!

I got my memory stick in the mail (2GB) I'm ready to start now. Somebody please come help me!!!! I want the 3.40 OE-A custom firmware.

Please help me through this!!! I don't want to mess my PSP up...

How long does the entire process take? (upgrade to 2.71, downgrade to 1.5, upgrade to custom firmware 3.40 EO-A)

Also I saw that some of you format your Memory sticks differently... so how should I format mine?

EDIT: I don't have PSP, PCB version TA-082 (mine doesn't have the IC numer inside the UMD area). I can't find an upgrade to 2.71 then downgrade to 1.5 tutorial which isn't TA-082 "type". PLEASE HELP....

I know some wouldn't recommend this but, you could upgrade to 2.8 and then use that which is automatic for both TA-082 and a non 82. Well the only reason i'm saying that though is because I have experience with it :p

Well if no one helps you by tonite with the 2.71 thing, just use this tut:
http://talkvideogames.com/showthread.php?t=36489
(Sorry guys to post a link to a different forum, just happen to have it bookmarked and it included details for non 82 MB's)
Once you downgrade to 1.5 (the 2.8 to 1.5 only takes about ~10min, just be sure to unplug your usb cable or however your transferring data or your psp will continually freeze when trying to run HEN-D, took me 10min to figure it out then it worked like a charm :) ) Upgrade to 3.40 OE-A is pretty straightforward. Just reformat your mem stick after downgrading to 1.5 (get rid of downgrade files). There should be a readme in the 3.4 update zip/rar which is just straightfoward (about 3 to 4 steps). And bam, there you have it. And totally make sure you DONT have a TA-82 or the other one (has alot of numbers on it on elft and right side inside UMD drive)

O and if you need any help I will be on aim: Lama614 is my sn.

I finally have downgraded to 1.5 on a TA-079 (non TA-082) PSP. It feels great... now for the 3.40 OE-A custom firmware. :?

3.03 oe-c ftw

I see no benefit when using 3.40 oe-a. All of my PSX emulation works perfect and I don't have to worry about flashing bad files to customize the XMB.

I like 3.40OE-A because well...works with ps3's. That and easier to customize the xmb :) (well to me, i still don't understand the whole flashing bad crap to flash0, if it doesn't say "for 3.03" then i flash it and it works) I would just rather have the newest out to date custom firmware then a older one. I see more xmb customization for 3.40OE-A then 3.03, which if I have 3.03 I would probably end up screwing it up anyways.
