Hanging by a screw

Hey guys, I'm sure have seen me post about my PSP muting problems, now that I finally got to opening my PSP, the final screw, is in my case located on the top right hand corner of the PSP when you look at it from the back (by the "L" button). This screw is extrememly tight and totally destroyed by countless attempts to open and I hav no idea what to do I can't open it... Any suggestions???

Not sure if this would help or you tried it already, but a little WD 40 to losen it, and try using needle nose pliers to grip it and turn it. Maybe try using a flat head and making your own grove to turn it. That's what I do when screws are stripped and I can't get unscrew it.

It loosens things, you usually use it on squeaky chairs or rusted tools.

if you are REALLY careful, you could use a very small diameter drill and drill out the center of the screw... if not, be careful with the wd40 b/c you don't want that getting in the psp.

cut slits so that you could use a star head screw driver...i remember puncharger had this exact same problem because he didnt use the right size screw driver to take the screws out, i forget how he got it out but try messaging him to see what he did.

I need more information on what it looks like and such.

but I had trouble doing this too.
Well i tried lots of stuff to get that friggin screw out.

-first try a flathead screwdriver

-second try a star head screw driver like Staxx said

-third Break a pair of small tweezers in half and try to use that, thats how i did mine (they were really small tweezers)

-fourth try to lift the faceplate up and spin the actual faceplate to the left to unscrew the screw (thats only if the screw is pretty loose already.)

-fifth if it comes to it use a small drill bit and drill out the top of the screw to get it out.

if i had pictures or more information i could help you out alot more, i have like 99 ways to try to get it out.
