Upgrading a 2.0 ??

Hello again,
Am looking for help or a nudge in the right direction!! , am trying to find out how to get a 2.0 up to somewhere like 3.52 to play ISOs?

Had a search but could not find out where to start !!

Do I have to go down to 1..50 first (and if so is there a (simple!!) tutorial anywhere??

I came across this http://pspbrew.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9454 but it only starts at 2.71 ??

Thanks in advance

There is a 2.00 firmware downgrader, i dont know of a link off the top of my head for it. But, you can use the 2.71 downgrader. It has the files necessary to upgrade your psp to 2.71 and links to everything needed to downgrade. Just make sure to check on the tutorial to see if you have a TA-082 motherboard cause there is one specifically for the TA-082.

Since its at 2.00 I guess it is a fairly new model psp, you shouldn't have much trouble at all downgrading to 1.50 then up to a custom firmware.

Turns out it is not a 2.0 at all it is a 2.60, I tried following the Pandoras Battery tutorial, but get corrupted data message on the PSP when I try to run the installer.

Will start again (tomorrow night!!)

Thanks for the help

This is a sig. You may think that there is something to it, but in fact it is just an ordinary sig.

Does it say corrupt data or game cannot be played? The Pandora App is a HOMEBREW application. You can't run homebrew on the official firmware, you need a psp with custom firmware to create the battery with the installer.

You should be able to downgrade a lot easier with upgrading to 2.71 and doing that downgrade. The is one for both the ta-082 motherboard and the one with the other motherboard.

Finally getting back to this, thanks for the help again people,

I decided to try to upgrade to 2.71 as suggested, (Pandoras thing can wait for another day, I do have a PSP here with custom firmware on it), when I downloaded the 2.71 Update, I created an UPDATE FOLDER, in the PSP Folder on the memory stick and put the EBOOT.PBP file there, now I am fairly sure that this is a stoopid question but HOW DO I RUN IT?

I thought I just needed to go into GAMES and then down to Memory Stick but there was nothing there, and then I tried going into Photo and running Slideshow but that did not do anything either
