PSP Conclusion

Well, a few days ago before the new year. I went to my friend Luke's house, he recently got a PSP and his is hella smaller then my PSP. So I've come to find out I have a fat PSP and its now currently updated to 3.80. The internet radio is awesome.

Now that I know, what is the difference between 3.80 Fat PSP and 3.80 Slim PSP as far as downgrading possibilities?

The SLIM isn't compatible to 1.50 firmware so the standary Pandora's Battery and Magic Memory Stick won't work on it. It requires some 3.71 and 1.50 files on the memory stick.

I just want to add that even though hombrew originally written for 150 kernel does not work on the slim a few homebrew releases are available in a 3.xx firmware compatible version. Also Popstation works great on the PSP slim.

i believe you can use the majority of emulators and homebrew by installing e-loader on the slim...other than the 1.50 kernel theres nothing different between the two firmware wise (as far as i know)

Yea, you'll need to downgrade first with the battery and memory stick since you're on 3.80 :(.

Well I thought there was a breakthrough for a moment since I found out I have a fat psp. But nevermind, still the same boat. Custom Firmware and Homebrew is f**k rediculous to do.
