how do i backup my UMD's

how do i backup my UMD's

i was jus wonderin how to back them up so i can play them directly from memory stick n not have to carry them all around?

You have to use a UMD dumper, go to the tutorial section to find out more about it.

What firmware are you on? If you are on 3.52M33-4 you can easily dump your UMDs with no extra programs.

Can you do that also with 3.71 m33?

Not sure, I'm guessing you can. All you gotta do is when your in the XMB, press the 'home' button and then the 'USB Device' option shows up, and you just switch it to 'UMD Disc' and connect your PSP to your computer and copy the ISO file over.

(Sorry to the owner of this topic) Ive been doing this to all of my old games (I have a tendency to misplace my games) Will this work on new games as well?

As far as I know, All you gotta do is stick any UMD in the psp and there is some programming in the firmware that allows you to make an ISO file of the UMD.
