Little Help with FW upgrading

OK so i used to be into this stuff a whiiiile back. (basically when 2.71 was new). My PSP is originally 1.5 yay i dont need to downgrade i know. So what I have done is upgrade to 3.40OE-A. To be honest I just randomly selected one.

Now though, I'm interested in getting alot of these new custom themes but many require 3.71 or higher. Now when I go to the 3.71 upgrade section it says i need 3.52 Custom Firmware before hand. So should I do the whole process over again wtih 3.52 then do it again with 3.71? seems odd I can't go to 3.71 right away if i'm getting rid of the old Firmware.


I just need confirmation if its really necessary to get 3.52 first. if so guess i'll have to do it heh.

3.51M33 is perfect

Just update directly to 3.52 m33 then add the update to bring it to m33-4. Once your done with that you can directly upgrade to 3.71 m33. You wont need to downgrade or anything, just update directly to those firmwares listed. We have tutorials in our tutorial section in case you need some sort of help with the installation.
