Turn it off all the way, (Holding the power switch in the upwards position for 3 seconds) and then turn it back on whilest holding R, this will bring up recovery mode..
I'm not actually sure how it works on GEN-D, but I'm fairly sure there is a setting for "GAME FOLDER HOMEBREW" make sure it's set to 1.5, and you're good to go.
