Updating from 3.40 OE-A Dark Alex's

Well, its been a while here but here I go. I've been with my psp, but haven't switched out any firmwares or downgraded yet. Its just a regular psp I modded to Dark Alex's 3.40 OE-A. What do I need to do to go to the new custom firmwares? Do I need to downgrade back to 1.5 then go over to M33? Please help and explain to me. I need help also of where to locate the files.

O your talking about 3.71M33-2? Or are you talking about 3.52M33-2? You can upgrade to 3.71M33 directly from 3.40OE-A, but someone will have to clarify as to whether you need to be at M33-1 before you upgrade to the second patch.

Whoo. I got though because I read such more crap about the tutorials and firmware, but when I flashed it. It got bricked, when I turn it on a few minutes later it goes off. Screen is black, what do I do to unbrick it if I don't have an extra memory card or psp or battery?
