Yea the games looked like credit cards and some of them cost as much as $80 which was too much money back in the late 80s for a game.
The hardware was basically an NES with a super graphics card built in. In fact NEC the company that was marketing the unit at the time banked so much on graphics they released another system with better hardware called "Super GFX" it bombed too because of the price of the games and the fact that even though the games looked good, many of them played like really bad NES games.
The programmers you will one day be looking to hire are the ones reading the tech news sites right now.
And they will remember...
