Emulate 2 GBA's in 1 PSP

Is it possible to emulate 2 GBA's running games (eg; Pokemon) so you can trade certain stuff to yourself?

No! That doesn't make ANY sense!!!!

If you want another Groudon, use gameshark.

No. BUT you can put your game save on your computer and VBA can use your save so open 2 windows of that on your computer and you can download some extra stuff to let you trade to yourself. Then you can put the save back on your psp to play after you traded whatever.

The .sav files do not corolate. You can't do that. If you go from gpSP to VBA you can't use the same .sav files. I've tried many different times :P

Well I managed to accomplish it :). I was able trade back and forth and put it back on my psp. I think you need to change the extension to .sa1 to use it. I'll post a link of the tutorial I used.

http://www.noeman.org/gsm/nintendo/3585 ... g-vba.html

You can also just load the save on VBA to use cheats instead of trade.

EDIT: You can find the exact same tutorial somewhere else so you don't have to register in order to download the stuff. And I think the download link to one of them was broken too lol. You can google for the downloads anyway.

I remember being a kid when the original pokemons were in GB and asking ppl in the school yard to start new games so we could trade the main 3 pokemons you start with.

I also had the bug pokemon (looked like a binary code) near that island (forgot the names) ...I just felt like playing the newer gba versions for nostalgia :P

actually ill just use gameshark to get the missing ones I want.
where do I get that?

You can find gameshark codes anywhere.

Do you already have gpSP installed?

Also, if you want to play GBC games on your psp I'll email you my TOP 10 GBC games plus an emulator. PM me your email :)

EDIT:I meant to say TOP 10 GBC not GBA

yup, I have gpSP in my PSP.
Do I need any extra homebrews to put a gameshark code in gpSP or is it done in my PC then just switch the save file into my PSP?

Yep same here, Pokemon Red and Blue all the way :D. That bug code pokemon thingy was called 'Missingo' or something by Cinnabar Island. Those were the days.

Also, I was the first to figure out how to catch mew w/o gameshark! I should be famous!!!!!!

I am just 16, I must have played Pokemon back when I was in 3rd grade, so I was about 7.
I never did catch that Missingo thing but I heard something bad would happen if you did, so I never took a chance to see what would happen.
How old did you think I was rox?

You make a .cht file and put it in the gpSP folder. Also, what version? I'll link to a tutorial.

Could one of you mods please fix this for me :P
I'm using my PSP. So getting a quote in the first post would be hard...
