psp console 1.3

i had psp consle 1.2 and it worked fine. i deleted 1.2 and put in 1.3 but it wont open when i press select, i went to recovery to disable the vsh option but i couldnt find it. i hav a regular slim 5.00 m33-6, can anyone help me with this problem, btw sorry i put this in the wrong section
