2 Questions. AVI playback and PSX multiplayer?

Is there a way to just watch AVI's on the PSP without having to go to the hassle of converting to MP4?

And I kinda know the answer to this stupid question, but thought I'd ask anyway Very Happy If I have two CFW PSPs, is there a homebrew program that lets me play multiplayer PS1 games? That SNES emulator has netplay, thought I would ask. How does the netplay in the SNES emulator work? Its the really good one with a menu when you hit the home key.

I did a bit of Googling to see if there was any talks about the possibility of playing back AVI or other popular mediums, and it seems there isn't a way yet.

As for your second question, don't have any info on it, since I don't play any PS1 games on my PSP.

avi playback is possible... but the problem is the PSP can't play high resolution avi's like what you would download for your computer, so it has to be converted anyway.

So its possible? Cool. How do I do this, is there a tutorial?

I was trying to charge my Datel tool battery there so I can do my friends PSP tommorow, but it is acting like a regular battery...is that because my PSP is already modded? Will I be able to use the battery on a friends PSP even if it has been used to do mine already? I have the mains of my PSP on, but there is no battery symbol on the top right of the XBM, never mind a flashing one.

I forget how to do that whole CFWing PSP process...better study up on it tonight lol.

I have a CFW Slim PSP. I am trying do put CFW on a mates PSP but my Datel battery does not seem to want to put his PSP Slim in service mode. It is the same battery I used for mine. I followed all the tutorials, but it does not turn on when I put it in, even though the unit is plugged in through the mains. Is my battery just dead? Or is it only good for one time?

Seeing as I have a CFW PSP Slim with me already, can I put CFW on my mates regardless? Can I re-pandora the Datel Battery with my CFW PSP? there is some kind of option for that I think in my CFW menu...any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: Its a PSP 2001 (American) BTW. Mine is 2003 (EU)
