chaos auto installer

Hi i'm thinking about upgrading to 302 oe-a using the basic installer , i have devhook on my memory card at the mo which enables me to play my game backups etc ,what i want to know is do i need to prepare
the memory card prior running the installer ie reformat delete all the devhook files etc.my psp is a 1.5 version.
any help would be appreciated.

Doesnt matter what you do on your memory card, you just have to put the installer on your memory stick
reformatted or not. It even qualifies for when you have OE-A, you can format your memory stick still.
Id reccomend not formatting it when you have OEA since there are some new folders in 3.00+ kernal that you might
want, but you could just add them shortly after.

thanks for the quick reply so i put the installer on the memory card then run it ,and not hook the psp via usb and run the installer in windows similar to the devhook installer..

Why wouldnt you not hook up the USB? Its a .exe file, it puts files on your PSP lol. Its not like it
does the job wirelessly.
Have your PSP in USB mode, and run the .exe.
