Help with a removal issue Sorry if its stupid

Hey all first post here Usually just a reader

okay first off ive spent 2 days looking for a simple answer so im asking
Is a wad installer/uninstaller for both Homebrew games and apps ? If yea will the uninstaller work to remove existing apps just installed to the apps folder? and finally if i install a new app with the wad installer do i still place it in the app folder?

1 more thing if the uninstaller wont remove previously installed apps how do i remove them? sorry for so many stupid questions but i only installed homebrew yesterday <---With no questions asked just alot of reading and the answer to this is not jumping out at me my kids downloaded every app on the homebrew browser and its a mess i need to clean up lol and i didnt know if you can just delete them off of the sd card or if traces were left behind

Thanks In Advance
And Very Nice Forum I look forward to staying awhile

Only WADs are actually installed on your Wii...

Homebrew applications and games like the ones hosted on our site are not installed on your Wii. They sit on the SD card and are loaded off of it.

Thank you for your response so anything else downloaded from the homebrew browser or downloaded to apps can just be deleted from the sd card? Also 1 more thing what exactly is a wad just give an example is it like a vc game etc?

The stuff listed in the Homebrew Channel menu are not channels... the things in the Main menu are channels... Weather CHANNEL, news CHANNEL, Homebrew CHANNEL... noticing the pattern? The things that are actually installed on your Wii are called channels, and are installed using wads.
