I can't get 2 plyr mode 2 work on homebrew channel help plz

hi I just got my wii 3.3u modded yesterday with the twilight soft mod everything is awesome dvd player runs great then try running super mario 3 I noticed I can't get the second controller to were I syncd both before I went to home brew then I went on it and lost the 2nd player can anyone point me in the right direction to fix this issue thank you..

What program are you using to run super mario 3?

I honestly have no clue what verion I was using, also it would not recognize 2nd player in any of the games ie: fceultra, snes, and sega. I spoke with the guy that modded my system he just responded that I would need to buy classic controllers and so I did with no luck. Is it possable that it may need to be reinstalled?

The classic controller is not necessary, so you're modder is either stupid or a liar. I honestly don't know why it won't sync. I'm in the middle of fixing a Wii linux issue now, so i'll give the emulators a shot later.

After many hours of internet search I found the fix for the 2player issue. You cannot set it by usuing the home screen to sync the wii it will automatically disconect the 2nd one well at least for me it did. To reslove the issue you need to manually sync the controllers before going into home brew. Next thing I have to learn how to save a game with homebrew..
