What's the best SD card I should use to get everything on my wii? Like, what size (amount of space) should I use? after the transfer, of uploading stuff to my wii, should I always keep a backup on my card? Also, how much stuff can the homebrew channel take until it's too much?

I use a 2gb micro sd card in an adapter for my wii cause thats what i had lying around. You really don't need that much space as all the programs are fairly small. I wouldn't go with SDHC cause compatibility is still spotty.

Backing up your card really isn't that necessary... The only thing I backup are my personal photos.

Homebrew channel is a program, not a storage medium. Homebrew channel sits on the Wii, homebrew stays on your SD card.
