problems getting the NES Emulator to work

Hello i'm a newbie to all this - last night i managed to install the wii homebrew channel onto me wii ok
Also, I got the snes emulator working ok. But struggling with the nes one - it says 'this is not a valid wii application'
Can anyone help me please? I've tried searching through the forums but could not find anything.
