NES Emulator

I downloaded the NES Emulator from this Web site and I got everything transferred over to my SD card, but the homebrew app will not load the Emulator, also it won't even show it. It will load the SNES, but not NES. (Yes I made sure the boot.dol file was in the right directory!) Any suggestions?

I found the problem, which if you had done some research in the last 5 days you probably could have figured out yourself.

The homebrew channel requires dol files to be named "boot.dol". It can't be named anything else. The packgen file is misnamed. Go into APPS/fceugx/ and rename fceugx_gc.dol to boot.dol

I would have done some research, but with FT school and work it is kind of hard! But thanks anyways.

I did rename the file to boot.dol but it says it is not a valid wii application. I have it in the right directory also...

can i just ask. What firmware do you have for your wii?
I doubt it makes much of a difference, but it could do.

Homebrew works on 3.4, so it shouldnt be a problem. i would suggest searching for the application and redownloading it from the source.
