Trueno could be 60% right. This M33 guys came up wit da cfw about right after da day 3.52 came out. Dat fast? no way and me not havin cfw dont know their stuff. The most proof i have is dat in ps forums when someone talks about cfw da person gets a reply for Sony but all of da sudden they stop and let ppl talk about cfw. dis guy made a psp store psp online portal and da guy puts up M33 sh** and media. Super fishy!!! in ps forums and its still there.

Well, having custom firmware isnt exactly illegal. Its what you do with it thats illegal. Therefore Sony cant really say much about the discussion of custom firmware on their site. As for M33 creating 3.52 in less than 2 days, 3.52 was released in japan before it hit america which gave team M33 a heads up on what to expect. Sure its speedy, but is it quality (even after 8 revisions)? Dark-Alex's firmwares were known to be stable on the first shot. Team M33's are released quickly with numerous bugs. Do the math...if team M33 waited to release their firmwares without all the bugs how long do you think it would take them? They released an update about every day to every other day so it would probably be between a week to two weeks for their more perfected (but still buggy) firmware.

They care because they know what most people do with it. But there is nothing anyone can do about someone who has CFW, unless they have illegal programs (emulators,roms, isos).

by the way, not all roms are illegal. only commercial ones, which I have found some.

It goes both ways. Its illegal when you DONT own the original copies of the game, but if you DO own the original then its perfectly legal to have ISO's, ROM's and whatever else as they are then considered backups.
