please help

I have upgraded then downgraded then upgraded to 3.40 oe.a. I have managed to download one game to work, however i have to save it in the game folder. I have tried load of other games but i keep getting a corrupted data message. I have tried saving in the iso and the game folder but always the same. Any ideas what i can do to rectify it. :?:

Yes, and no...you can hide the corrupted data 100% of the time on homebrew by adding __SCE__ and %__SCE__ tags to your homebrew folders

So for an snes emulator it would look like this for the two folders...

__SCE__SNES
%__SCE__SNES

Anyways, onto the creators problem...are you sure you have your stuff located in the right folders? Homebrew goes in GAME150, Iso/cso games go into your iso folder, psx games go inside a folder and you place that folder in your game folder.

I am using custom firmware 3.40 oe-a. This might be a stupid question but what is the difference between the ISO and Game folder. What type of stuff uses ISO and is it all game types that go in the game folder. If corruped is normal why wont the games play from the game's folder.

The coding of the firmware is coded to read from certain directories.

ISO/CSO files are psp games... example: burnout.iso

Homebrew are applications/programs... example: Snes emulator, IRShell, Custom Firmware Updater

PSX Games, self explanatory

refer to my previous post for where to place these files.
