You can buy a new motherboard with firmware 3.50 firmware or lower on it and downgrade it using another method...or buy a motherboard with preinstalled custom firmware on it. The motherboard is pretty easy to swap.

No way as of now, but I know how you feel. I still haven't found much help making a pandoras battery, and I've been at it for almost 2 weeks now.
This is a sig. You may think that there is something to it, but in fact it is just an ordinary sig.

Like i stated above...replace your motherboard with a downgradable one if you want it bad enough...or there are lots of people on ebay and on the noobz forums who convert your battery at the cost of shipping and handling.

I guess I should have said there is no cheap way. when you're in high school with no job it's hard to just go and trust a stranger on ebay to downgrade my psp after spending $40 in a savage bid war. I talked to somebody on these forums but they haven't replied yet. so I dont know if ive found a solution.

you can use the pandora easy installer here: http://www.pspbrew.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9572
its easy to use, and you don't really need a spare battery or mem stick. all you need is to find a psp with custom firmware on it in order to do this.
