Installing CFW on new slim psp with only one MS and one Batt

I'm planning on getting a new psp slim (daxter pack)

I'm pretty sure from all the reading i've done that it can be converted to CFW with nothing else except what comes in the pack.
I just need some clarification on a few points.

What is the best program to make the MS a magic MS, by just formatting it and putting all the neccesary files on the MS?
I will be hard modding the psp slim battery.

So once I have the battery ready and the MS ready, what then? This is where i get lost , i think i need to launch DCv3 to install CFW.

I'm going to use Total Newbi easy INstaller to create the magic MS,

The forth option in the installer is:
4. universal unbricker for slim and phat psps, installs 3.71M33-2

Is this Despertar del Cementerio, if so can I replace the files with the latest V3 files so that i can see the menu choices when using the slim psp.

Also the update files the installer puts on the magic MS will update the psp to 3.71M33-2 can i replace some of the files to make it update to 3.71M33-4 instead.

i think it was updated to support v3 if im not mistaken... i would just use whatever files come with the tutorial to be on the safe side tho and then update to m33-4 manually after everything is done. But if you wanna go ahead with your suggestions then theres really no worries cause you already have the battery to unbrick, you'll just need to use a card reader to swap the files to the ones from the tutorial tho if you mess up the psp.

i would recommend making the Despertar Cementerio, i made a stick and battery and have used it to "mod" 4 psps now and it works great on slims and phats. But if your hard modding the battery and want to keep it i guess you'll have to buy a new one.

Just an update, and a thanks to those who helped,

I bought the psp daxter pack yesterday and after an hour or two messing with the slim battery I managed do the one wire mod on it, once I got the mem stick set up the rest is history, now at 3.71 M33-2 and will soon be updating to latest M33.
